Canadian delegation is getting bigger!

I am happy to announce that Mr. Aris Marghetis from Ottawa will join our team as an arbiter! Some of you already know him from North American Youth Championship, held in Montreal in August. He has the title of Fide Arbiter and was invited directly by the Greek Chess Federation. Another thing that I believe is worth mentioning is the fact that Aris speaks Greek!

Welcome Aris! - Kαλωσόρισμα Aris!

Team shirts are here!

Great news: Canada will have two arbiters at WYCC!

Happened before for Canada to have one arbiter at WYCC, but this is the first time when we will have two arbiters.

It is my pleasure to inform you that Organizing Committee of WYCC 2010 together with the head arbiter of WYCC 2010 Mr Georgios Mastrokoukos agreed to accept Mr. Parmjit Sohal and Mr. Oleksandr (Alex) Kalaydin in the arbiters team at WYCC. They are experienced TD, here in Canada and also outside in Europe, Asia and North America.

Congratulation and good luck!
